AiR (Artist in Residence) program @ Kindred Public Schools

STAR WALLOWINGBULL

We are very excited to announce one of our 2019-2020 Artist's in Residence and Gala artist Star WallowingBull! Star is a nationally renowned artist who blends Native American motifs with pop culture themes. He will be working with students in grades k-12 in the Kindred schools for three weeks in January '20 and will be a special guest at our annual fundraising Gala in February!

Keith Bear

Mandan-Hidatsa storyteller and musician Keith Bear weaves a magic of story, song, history and personal reflection that enchants audiences of all ages. 


Keith Bear is an educator who works with students of all ages in school programs and residencies. He is an award-winning recording artist for Makoche Records who performs solo and ensemble concerts through the United States and Europe.

He will join us at the high school and elementary school on February 6-7 and will also be a guest at our annual fundraising GALA in February!
