Rehearsal: THERE WILL BE NO REHEARSAL BEFORE THIS PERFORMANCE. Please email us at kindred.kaap@gmail.com if you'd like to pick up your music folder in advance!
Pepband: Thursday, February 27 @ 6 p.m. - meet in the high school band room.
What to wear: Kindred Blue or your "I'm with the Band" shirt! We still have some in stock or order on our website if you'd like one.
Need an instrument?: No problem! We have a growing collection at the school available to use thanks to uber generous people that should be playing them but would rather let you play it! Email us at kindred.kaap@gmail.comor fill out the form on our website under "community band" and put one on reserve. Eckroth and Schmit Music have been so supportive of our effort as well and we can arrange an instrument with them too.
Reeds and oil: Teresa has a nice stash of extra reeds and slide oil available for everyone (so that's not an excuse to not come and play!)
Fingering chart: A fingering chart is in the folders to remind us of the notes - it comes back so quick like riding a bike!
Want to practice?: We have folders of music ready to go with the latest hippest pep band songs! There will be no practice before this performance - please email us at kindred.kaap@gmail.comto pick your music up early to jam with your friends in a practice session.
Who can come? This is a community band not just a KHS alumni band - ALL ARE WELCOME! Bring a friend!
