Local Students in Summer Theater!

Hello Everyone!

As the summer quickly wanes, I wanted to share with you some opportunities to see our Kindred students in live theater performances. We have several Kindred students sharing their talents across the F-M Area: Gooseberry Park Players presents: The SpongeBob Musical The SpongeBob Musical is a hit Broadway musical featuring characters from the Nickelodeon show of the same title. This witty and charming show is family friendly and makes for a fun family night out! Recent Kindred High School Graduate, Brooklyn Mauch, is featured in this production. WHEN: July 19-22 @ 7pm, and July 23 and 24 @ 1pm WHERE: Horizon Middle School TICKETS: Kindred Area Arts Partnership is sponsoring a block of tickets on Thursday, July 21. If you would like to see this show as a community, tickets for this night are $9 (half off!), and includes 1 free concession item. For more information, visit Fargo Moorhead Community Theater presents: Little Shop of Horrors Little Shop of Horrors is a sci-fi musical that took Broadway by storm. Its songs and fun costumes and set design make it a unique theater experience. This production features our very own Kensey Knight. Please note: there are FOUR casts in this age group so the specific shows Kensey will perform in are listed below. WHEN: August 3 @ 7:30 p.m. & August 5 @ 5 p.m. WHERE: Hjemkomst Center TICKETS and INFO: Legally Blonde, the Musical Legally Blonde, the Musical is a fun, modern musical that follows the events of the 2001 movie of the same title. Featuring catchy songs and a fun story, you will leave the theater pink with excitement! There are 2 companies in the F-M Area that are putting on this show, each with their own Kindred student! I hope you are able to take the time not only to go out and see good theater, but also support our students! It is fun to see our kids do the things they love and share their talents with others.
