SCHOLASTIC ART & WRITING | Each year students can submit their art and writing to this competition.  The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are presented by the Plains Art Museum and the Red River Valley Writing Project at NDSU.  KAAP proudly sponsors the fees so students can submit their work.

Gold Key/North Dakota American Voices Nominee: Ty Roesler

The 2021 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are presented by the Plains Art Museum and the Red River Valley Writing Project at NDSU. American Voices nominees are "Best in Show awards that most exemplify originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice & vision."  These nominees are put into a second context where one writer and one artist are chosen from each Region to receive an America Voices Medal. 

There will be an awards ceremony to honor these students at the Plains Art Museum on Saturday, March 5 from 5:30 - 8 p.m.
