STUDENT SUBMISSIONS | KAAP offers funding to pay for students to submit their art work to various contests throughout the year and participate as a class in certain artistic endeavors. Teachers sign up for a KAAP grant/fund request to support student involvement in programs such as these.
SCHOLASTIC ART & WRITING
Each year students can submit their art and writing to this competition. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are presented by the Plains Art Museum and the Red River Valley Writing Project at NDSU. KAAP proudly sponsors the fees so students can submit their work. View the winners here.
THE MEMORY PROJECT
The Memory Project is used in the art classroom during spring semester at Kindred High School. Students have an opportunity to connect with people around the world through the creation and gift of art - drawing someone's picture.
ND STUDENT ART SHOW
KAAP sponsors the fee to host a K-12 grade traveling art show that Kindred Elementary and High School students are able to submit work to annually. People from all across the state of North Dakota judge the entries, and a limited amount of works make it into this show that tours the state for a year! The show is displayed annually from mid-November to mid-December in the library at the Kindred High School. http://w.taubemuseum.org/NDSAS-winners-2021.html
